Live Stream of Book Launch

The formal launch of The Song Cannot Be Silenced will be at 7:30pm (British Summer Time) on Thursday the 10th of September at The CatStrand, New Galloway, southwest Scotland. Tickets can be purchased online through TicketSource:

The evening promises to be a stimulating, conversational delight, as the novelist Margaret Elphinstone poses penetrating questions of the author. How do the characters’ actions and motivations develop the theme of this literary effort? What particular questions is the author trying to pose, and perhaps to answer? There will be many more, in addition to a reading sample and, no doubt, questions from the floor.

But many potential readers will not be able to get to the physical launch, and for them The CatStrand has arranged to livestream the event on its YouTube channel, as linked under the sheep icon at the top of this page.

The livestream will also be archived, so if the actual event doesn’t fit one’s schedule, it can be experienced later as convenient.

Meanwhile, in anticipation of the launch, the novel is already available for pre-order in many marketplaces online throughout the world (buttons linking to these sites are listed on the front/home page of this blog). Especially in Canada, considering the author’s, and the principal character’s nationality, physical paperback books of The Song Cannot Be Silenced should be available by order from independent bookstores throughout the land, but more on that in a later post.
